At Premiere Studio of Dance we not only teach dance steps to our students, but through the discipline of dancing, dedicating time to either our Recreational or our Competitive program, our students become high achievers and have gone on to many successes both academic and within the dance world!

Jillian Armstrong – accepted into the Dance Program at York University, Fall 2014

Alice Bond – graduated from George Brown College with a Diploma in Dance Performance Preparation.  Alice also has attained her Associates designation through the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) in Ballet, and is a current instructor at PSD teaching both recreational and competitive level classes.

Lauren Buchardt – Graduate of the Canadian National Ballet School (NBS), Extensive professional experience with the Het Nationale Ballet. Currently studying Psychology and English at McGill University, teaching / training at L’Ecole Superior de Danse de Quebec and working as a freelance dancer in Montreal.

Jessica Burrett  – accepted into the Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan, Fall 2014

Brayden Cairns – accepted into the Ryerson Dance Program, Fall 2015

Jennifer Carter – accepted into the Commercial Dance Program at Centennial College, Fall 2015, Member of BOSS Dance Company Toronto

Amanda Cohen – Graduate of Queens University Political Science and History, Completed her Masters at McMaster in Political Economy.

Sara Connelly – after finishing a business diploma at Flemming College, Sara opened her own photography company SCPhotography.  Additionally Miss Sara is one of our dance instructors at PSD for both the recreational and competitive program. www.saraconnellyphotography.squarespace.com

Amber Halcovitch – Graduate of Queens University Physical and Health Education, currently attending Queens University Teachers College.

Eryn Masterson – accepted into the Alvin Ailey Dance Program (Professional Division, 3 year Certificate) in New York City, Fall 2016

Simon Mazziotti – accepted to the Ryerson Performance Dance Program, Fall 2017

Oliver Moriarty – accepted into the Alvin Ailey Dance Program (Professional Division, Independent Study) in New York City, Fall 2016

Natassia Murray – Member of The Toronto Blue Jays, ‘J Force’ dance and entertainment team at Rogers Centre for the 2016 Season.

Meggie Pound – graduated from Trent University with a Honors Degree in Women’s Studies.  Additionally Meggie has achieved her Associates designation through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D.), in both Ballet and Tap.  Meggie is currently a full time instructor at PSD teaching both the recreational and competitive level programs.

Katie Romard – accepted into the York University Dance Program (Bachelor of Fine Arts), Fall 2017

Kirstyn Russell – accepted into the Sheridan Bachelor of Musical Theatre Performance program, Fall 2013.

Natalie Wagner – completed her BSc in Kinesiology at The University of Western Ontario. She spent one year in the Masters in Rehabilitation Science program at McMaster University studying motor control, and is now working on her PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster. Her doctoral research focuses specifically on how learners acquire new skills in medical education.
